I am using windows 8.1 64 bit with usb joystick controller. If u r no working. First download lastest x360ce https. If you're on a 64-bit system. May 13, 2011 That controller is designed to play SF IV, so no analog. Xbox 360 controller is the greatest investment you can make for a PC controller. All Games For Windows games with controller support use it 100%. It is also one of the best controllers ever created. Glad I have mine along with several other controller types I used with USB adapters.
Project64's graphics plug-ins are primarily designed for 3D games. 2D games, however, have the back seat. Some games such as Ogre Battle 64 have graphic glitches around menus and dialogue boxes. There's no complete fix for this, but the glitches can be reduced. First, load the game. Can't detect controller Project 64 - v2.x - Issues. I haven't installed any separate controller input programs, since all the tutorials I found said to just plug in the controller, download the MS program, and change the button mapping in Project 64.
Hey, sorry for creating an account just because I needed help. Anyway, I'd really appreciate if anyone could give shed some light.
I'm trying to use a PS2 controller USB adaptor ti play on Project64 ('TigerGame PS/PS2 Game Controller Adapter' as shown on Windows XP control panel, though on the device itself it's written 'Super Joy Box 5 Pro'), but it ain't working.
I use the same device/PS2 controller with every other emulator, so I don't think that would be the problem. I'm using Pj64 v1.6, and I've tried both the 'Jabo DirectInput7 1.6' and the 'N-Rage's DirectInput8 2.1.83' plugins. With the first one, whenever I click a key to assign, it automatically sets that key to Z- (if analog is on), or to S0 (analog off); with the latter, nothing will happen at all no matter which button I press.
A friend of mine has always had the same adaptor (his' is an earlier version, not the '5 Pro', but still...), and it always worked fine for him, so I guess it should be supported, right?
If anyone has any ideas I'll be glad to hear them!
So, what does this do for you? Many things! Here are the key advantages:
Project 64 Wont Detect Controller Windows 10
- No calibration required. As the game talks to the controller directly, it reads exactly the same axis values it would in a non-emulated setup. In other words, the controller works, responds and feels exactly as it would in real life.
- Low latency. When the game must read the controller, the request is forwarded directly to the controller by the adapter. The later immediately returns the controller's answer to the game.
- Potential support for any expansion accessory without any intervention nor device-specific functionality required on the part of the emulator, of the plugin or of the adapter (except for the direct access feature), which means:
- Rumble pack support (tested)
- Memory pack support (tested)
- Transfer pack support (confirmed)
- Bio sensor support (tested)
- Support for peripherals other than controllers.
- N64 mouse (tested)
- VRU (confirmed, requires special ports1_4 version of the plugin)
- N64 Keyboard (not confirmed[1])
